RALPH G. IMGARTEN, 86, of Salisbury died, February 21, 2008 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Ralph was born January 21, 1922 in Salisbury, MO the son of Gustav and Edna (Linneman) Imgarten. Ralph married Mary Ellen Rodgers on May 17, 1947 at St. Ferdinand in St. Louis, MO; and she preceded him in death on December 24, 1990. On October 28, 1993, Ralph married Betty Adams Guilford, at the Asbury United Methodist Church.

Ralph was a graduate of Salisbury High School class of 1939. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. After the war he joined the Missouri Air National Guard 131st Tactical Fighter Wing, in St. Louis, attaining rank of colonel, and retiring after 35 years, in 1977. Ralph lived in Florissant from 1945 until returning to Salisbury in 1993. Ralph was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church of Keytesville

Ralph is survived by his wife Betty of the home; four children Karen McHugh of St. Louis, MO, Stephen Imgarten of Florissant, Roger Imgarten and wife Debbie of Wildwood, MO, Mary Beth Herbst and husband Dennis of Florissant, MO; step children Gary Guilford and wife Sally of Salisbury, Melva Woolston and husband Dwyane of Sedalia, Donna Hayes and husband Jerry of Keytesville, Linda Fuka and husband Bob of Salisbury, Betty Minshall and husband Terry of Salisbury, John Guilford and wife Sarah of Palmyra; and Roger Guilford and wife Sara of Keytesville; six grandchildren, one great grandchild, eighteen step grandchildren and twenty one step great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife and sister Viola Sanders.

Visitation is Sunday, February 24th from Noon until 2:00 p.m. with services following at 2 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Visitation is Monday, February 25th from 11 to 1:00 p.m. with services at 1:00 p.m. at Hutchens Mortuary in Florissant, MO. Entombment following at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Asbury United Methodist Church or to the American Heart Association.
