EVELYN L. LOGAN, 95, of Salisbury, MO died June 22, 2008 at Chariton Park Health Care Center in Salisbury. Evelyn was born November 24, 1912 in rural Mendon, MO the daughter of Clark and Clare (Lester) Blackman. She married Lionel Nathan Logan on April 8, 1934 in Prairie Hill, MO and he preceded her in death.

Evelyn was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from McGreder Beauty College in Kansas City, MO. She was a Red Cross volunteer, a member of the Salisbury United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women’s Society.

Evelyn is survived by a daughter Donna Morrison and husband Weldon of Salisbury; four grandchildren William J. Quilty III, Amy Bowen, Andrya DeGhelder, Logan DeGarmo; and a great granddaughter Amber DeGarmo; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Patricia Quilty on June 3, 2002, a brother Robert Glenn Blackman; and a sister Delma Ruth Roberts.

Visitation is 2-3:00 p.m., Friday, June 27th with services following at 3:00 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Burial in Salisbury City Cemetery. Memorial may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Salisbury or the National Multiple Scholars Society.
