EDITH STARK,
89, of Keytesville died March 16,
2008 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Edith was born September 21,
1918 in Dalton, MO the daughter of Gilbert and Minnie (Kaiser) Grotjan.
She married Burl Ray in 1936, and he preceded her in death in 1958. In
1965 she married Ray Stark in Marshall, MO and he preceded her in death
on September 6, 2005.
Edith was a lifelong area
resident. She was a graduate of Dalton High School, a member of the
Keytesville United Methodist Church, Dalton Homebuilders Club. Edith
worked in sales for Glenn’s Men’s Wear in Brunswick until her retirement
in 1983.
Edith is survived by her son
Richard Ray and wife Pam of Kansas City, MO; a brother Elton Grotjan of
Ketyesville, MO; three grandchildren Patrick Ray of Grain Valley, MO,
Jennifer Mueller of Glen Carbon, IL, Mindy Ray of Hannibal, MO; and a
great granddaughter Racheal Mueller, and a host of friends and
relatives.
Visitation is 6-8:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, March 18th at the Summerville Funeral Home. Services are 11:00
a.m., Wednesday, March 19th at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury
with burial in the Dalton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made
to the Dalton Cemetery Association.
