CHARLES BRADFORD DAVIS, 76 of Salisbury died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at his home. He was born June 1, 1931 in rural Kellerton, Iowa the son of Luther Martin and Mary Lou (Rhoades) Davis.

Charles married Marva Reynolds on January 14, 1951 in Maryville, Mo. and she survives of the home.

Mr. Davis owned Davis Homebuilders, Inc. in Salisbury for many years, building over 100 homes and business in and around Salisbury. He was an avid member of the Salisbury United Methodist Church and volunteered his time at the Salisbury Food Pantry.

Survivors include his wife of the home, one son Keith B. Davis of Columbia, four daughters and sons-in-law; Kayla and Larry Carter of Elsberry, Lynn Anne and Stan Switzer of Indian Grove, Pam and Mike Weimer of Salisbury and Sarah and Gary Linhart of Fayette, Eleven grandchildren. His parents and a sister, Doris Krzympiec, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 2:00p.m. at the Salisbury United Methodist Church with burial with Military Honor’s at Eastlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Salisbury. Visitation will be Saturday from 3 till 7:00p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Memorials are suggested to the church or Salisbury Food Pantry.
