NORMA LOU SANFORD,
76, of Salisbury, died Monday,
June 18, 2012 at the Brunswick Nursing Home. Norma was born April 17,
1936 in Salisbury, MO, the daughter of Russell and Anita Hurt. She
married Kenneth Sanford in 1956 in Salisbury.
Norma was a graduate of
Salisbury High School. She was co owner and operator of K-Auto Parts in
Salisbury for 30 years. Norma was a member of the Salisbury Baptist
Church.
Norma is survived by her
husband Kenny of the home, two daughters Laurel Huddle (Daniel) of
DeWitt, Michigan, Elise Sanford of Salisbury, a brother Drexel Hurt of
Dallas, TX, two grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, several nieces
and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Evadene
Martin.
A memorial gathering will be
noon to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 21st at the Summerville Funeral Home
in Salisbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chariton County
Relay for Life.
