LOLA LOVERNA JENNINGS
HESS BROWN,
77, formerly of Huntsville &
Moberly, Mo. passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Fulton Nursing and
Rehab in Fulton, Mo.
Lola was born May 23, 1934 in
Lingo, Mo. the daughter of Robert Edward and Martha Melvina (Epperly)
Jennings. She graduated from Northwestern High School of Mendon, Mo. in
the class of 1952.
Lola attended the First Church
of God in Moberly, Mo. She was a member of the Moberly Fraternal Order
of Eagles and Moberly Moose Lodge. Lola enjoyed gardening and spending
time with her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons,
Norville Eugene Hess of Moberly, Mo. and James Elton Hess and wife Linda
Hess of Centralia, Mo.; one daughter, Kathy Elaine (Hess) Stocke and
husband Harley Stocke of Fulton, Mo.; eight grandchildren; two great
grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Alice Clary of Moberly, Mo., Sarah
Mae Reiss of Independence, Mo. and Martha Jennings Johnson of Tarpon
Springs, Fl.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in
death by a daughter, Phyllis Yvonne Hess; father, Robert Edward
Jennings; mother, Martha Melvina Epperly Jennings Hardy; stepfather,
William Raymond Hardy and Thirteen Brothers and Sisters.
A Remembrance Gathering will
be held 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Patton Funeral Home in
Huntsville. Internment will follow in the Huntsville City Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
