EVERETT W. LENTZ, 95, of rural Keytesville died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Pioneer Health Care Center in Marceline. Everett was born October 27, 1916 in Marceline, MO the son of John Cleveland and Clara Frances (Graves) Lentz. He married Margaret McGown on June 16, 1936 and she preceded him in death on June 10, 2011.

Everett was a graduate of Marceline High School class of 1936. He was a farmer and worked on aircraft maintenance for a company in California during WWII. Everett was a member of the Keytesville First Baptist Church, serving as trustee for many years. He was also a member of the Warren Masonic Lodge #74 AF & AM.

Everett is survived by two daughters Helen Peters (Larry) of Keytesville, Sheila Mills of Dallas, TX, a sister Mary Alice Newman of Moberly, MO, four grandchildren Jeff & Kris Peters of Keytesville, MO, Barbara & Travis Erickson of Keytesville, Justin Mills of Dallas, TX, Morgen Mills of Denver, CO, seven great grandchildren Christopher & Terri Peters of Renick, MO, Heather & Doug Kruessel of Salisbury, MO, Lacey Schachtele of Keytesville, , Blake Erickson of Chillicothe, MO, Jaime Erickson of Keytesville, MO,Reagan Mills of Dallas,TX, and seven great great grandchildren Ethan, Ryan, Haley, Kylie Peters, Emit and Landon Schachtele , and Cooper Kruessel.. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother William “Bill” Lentz.

Visitation is Monday, August 13, 2012 from 10-11:00 a.m., at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury with services following at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial in Locke Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Locke Cemetery Association.
