DUANE "MUD" CRAIG,
69, of Salisbury, died Saturday,
December 31, 2011 at his home. Duane was born December 11, 1942 in What
Cheer, Iowa the son of Arthur E. and Ella Irene (Schlaser) Craig.
Duane served in the U.S. Army.
Duane was an over the road truck driver, worked for AMACO in Brunswick,
Kinkhorst Budweiser Distributing in Brunswick, and a cook for McTags for
many years. He was a member of the Brunswick American Legion Post #7.
Duane is survived by two
brothers Earl E. Craig of Kingston Springs, TN, Dean Craig of Blue
Springs, MO, two sisters, Florence Hill and Kay Quinn both of Salisbury,
MO, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents,
brother Leonard Craig and sister Dorothy Fitzgerald.
Visitation is Monday, January
2, 2012 from 4-7:00 p.m., at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.
Services are 10:00 a.m., January 3, 2012 at the Summerville Funeral Home
in Salisbury with burial with Military honors at the Missouri Veterans
Cemetery at Jacksonville. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Prairie Hill Cemetery Association.
