ANN SMITH, 70, of Keytesville, MO died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Brunswick Nursing Home. Ann was born September 21, 1941 in Council Bluffs, IA the daughter of Hobert D. and Ruby P. (Hulbert) Fry. She married Jack Edward Smith in Salisbury on July 24, 1976.

Ann worked as a librarian, secretary, bookkeeper, waitress, fry cook for many area businesses. She was a member of the Keytesville First Baptist Church, member of the Preceptor Delta Omega Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, Keytesville Chamber of Commerce, Key Community Betterment, 4-H Project leter for 10 years, Chairman of Sterling Price Committee for 3 different terms, Keytesville City Council from 1984-1986, board member of the Keytesville Senior Housing and Keytesville Community Center.

Ann is survived by her husband Jack of Brunswick Nursing Home, sons John Edward Smith and wife Norma of Keytesville, Donald Roy Smith and wife Kimberly of O’Fallon, MO, Jack Edward Smith Jr. and wife Georgia of Keytesville, MO, two grandchildren, a great granddaughter, a sister Janice Luce of Ankeny, IA, and two nephews Steven Michael Luce and Daniel Luce both of Wichita, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Hobert Fry, Jr. and a granddaughter Crystal Gene Smith.

Cremation services under the direction of Summerville Funeral Home with private inurnment at Asbury Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Asbury Cemetery Association.
