LARRY "DEKE" FAITH, 61, of Salisbury, died Sunday, February 14, 2010, at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. Larry was born March 19, 1948, in Salisbury, MO the son of Thomas and Opal (Simmons) Faith. Larry was married to Diana Grider and she preceded him in death on May 24, 1989.

Larry was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Salisbury High School class of 1966. He was owner and operator of the Corner Tavern in Salisbury, taught handicapped children in the Keytesville School, and was a lumber buyer and broker.

Larry is survived by his mother Opal Schneztler of Salisbury, a daughter Jenny Denslow and husband Mike of Huntsville, MO, two grandchildren Jacob and Madelyne Denslow ; a half brother Wayne Faith of St. Charles, MO. His father and a half sister Helen Ann Morrison preceded him in death.

Visitation is 4-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 17th at Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Services are 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 18th, at 11:00 a.m. at Summerville Funeral Home with burial in Eastlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chariton County Relay For Life.
