GARY “NICK” WILLIAM
NICKERSON, 62, of Salisbury, MO died September 2, 2010 at Chariton
Park Health Care Center in Salisbury. Gary was born April 2, 1948 in
Salisbury, MO the son of William Herschel and Valeria (Lingo) Nickerson.
Gary was a graduate of
Salisbury High School. He served in the United States Army during
Vietnam. Gary worked for Chariton Exhaust for several years as a
mechanic. He volunteered at the V.A. Hospital in Columbia the past few
years.
Gary is survived by two
daughters Penny Jackson (Dave) of Blue Springs, MO, Amanda Boles of
Brunswick, MO, a brother Leroy Nickerson (Agnes) of Columbia, two nieces
Gayle Krouse and Michele Nickerson, two nephews Travis Boley and Eric
Nickerson, five grandchildren Michael House, Christopher Nickerson,
Titan Dombek, Gage and Abby Jackson and a brother-in-law Leroy Boley of
Salisbury. His parents and a sister Judith Gayle Boley preceded Nick in
death.
Visitation is 11- Noon on
Tuesday, September 7th at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.
Memorial military graveside services are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the
Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Memorial contributions
may be made to the Cleve Iman Memorial VFW Post #4926.
