ROBERT "BOB" BERNARD
REICHERT,
78, of Salisbury died July 23,
2009 at Brunswick Nursing Home. Bob was born September 27, 1930, in
Brunswick, MO, the son of Otto and Bertha (Reigelsberger) Reichert.
Bob grew up in Brunswick. He
was a graduate of the Brunswick High School, Class of 1949, and he
attended Chillicothe Business School. Bob served our country in the US
Army as a telegrapher, during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Western
Union as a telegrapher. Bob was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic
Church in Brunswick, 50 year member of the Elks Lodge in Hutchinson, KS;
member of the Knights of Columbus in Brunswick, and the Brunswick
American Legion.
Bob is survived by two
brothers Charles Reichert and wife Virginia of Republic, MO, Michael
(Mick) Reichert and wife Jean of Liberty, MO; three sisters Eleanor
Richardson and husband Ray of Clifton Hill, MO, Virginia McCurry of
Brunswick, MO, Lillian Widmer and husband Bob of Salisbury, MO; brother
in law Sam Johnson of Brunswick, MO; good friend Eloise Simmons of
Colorado Springs, Co; several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death
were his parents; brothers Donald Reichert, and sister Joan Johnson.
Visitation is Saturday, July
25th from Noon to 2:00 p.m., with Mass of Christian Burial following at
2 p.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Brunswick, Mo, burial in
St. Boniface Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St.
Boniface Catholic Cemetery Association. Services are entrusted to the
Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.
