ODES FRANKLIN LUCAS,
69 of Brunswick, Missouri
formerly of the Keytesville area, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at
the Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly. He was born
December 10, 1939 in Prairie Hill, Missouri the son of Wayne F. and
Verna Lee (Powell) Lucas.
Odes worked as a logger for
many years and also worked at the Cabury Plant in Salisbury and for
Brown Shoe Company in Brookfield for some time.
Survivors include five sons,
Odes Travis Lucas of St. Joseph, Mo; Jeremy H. Lucas of Salisbury; Jared
Kalib Lucas of Moberly, Johnny Lucas and Terry Lucas of Salisbury, two
daughters, April Kristina Lucas of Moberly and Betty Ann Munday of
College Mound, four brothers, Gilbert Lucas of Brookfield, Joe Lucas of
Holt Summit, Wayne Lee Lucas San Diego, Ca; and Charles Allen Lucas of
Moberly, three sisters, Nayna Fox of Keytesville, Marcella Cunningham,
of Springfield, MO and Vicky Lane of Huntsville, several grandchildren,
great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his
parents, one brother at infancy and a sister Marilyn Rafferty.
Memorial services will be held
Saturday February 7, 2009 at 2:00p.m. at the Keytesville First Baptist
Church.Funeral arrangements by Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.
