NEVALLEE I. DAVIS, 82, of Moberly died February 15, 2009 at her home. Nevallee was born November 9, 1926 in Clifton Hill, MO the daughter of Raymond and Edna B. (Johnson) Dennis. She married Donald Wayne Guilford on July 29, 1944 and he preceded her in death on July 16, 1949. On November 8, 1951 she married Franklin Davis in Salisbury, and he preceded her in death on January 8, 1993.

Nevallee worked as seamstress for the Biltwell Factory in Salisbury. She was a member of the Salisbury Immanuel Lutheran Church, lifetime member of the Moberly VFW Auxiliary, Moberly Eagles and Moose Lodge #776. Nevallee enjoyed dancing, boating and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks. She was a volunteer at the Senior American Multipurpose Center in Moberly.

Nevallee is survived by daughter Del Dee Meyer and husband Faris of Salisbury; two grandchildren Mark Arnsperger and wife Melody of Moberly, Kelly Massie and Justin of Salisbury; five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; a sister Mary Schieni of Salisbury. Preceded Nevallee in death were her husbands, two sisters Frances Moberly and Bertie Sorenson.

Visitation is 9-11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 19, 2009, with services at 11:00 a.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Burial in Eastlawn Memory Garden in Salisbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the Senior American Multipurpose Center in Moberly or the Moose Lodge.
