JILL M. (HAYWARD) HOPPER,  52, of Lee’s Summit, MO. formerly of Salisbury, MO. passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Macon Health Care Center, after a long battle with Lung and Brain Cancer.

Jill was born in Independence, MO. on May 1, 1957, the daughter of Joe Henry and Lois Jean Rook Hayward. Jill attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Salisbury High School in 1975. She Attended Moberly Area Community College and graduated from Blessing Hospital School of Nursing in Quincy, IL in 1979. Jill loved nursing and taking care of others she was a nurse for 30 years.

Jill is survived by one son; Lucas Hopper of Raytown, MO; her parents William E. and Lois Jean Farnen of Salisbury, MO; two brothers; Bill Farnen (Barbara) of Blue Springs, MO; and Buck Farnen (Amber) of Keytesville, MO; two sisters; Mary Jack Mayer (Joe) Topeka, KS; Caroline Geary (Peter) of Erie, CO; one sister-in-law Margie Fuemmeler of Salisbury, MO. and several nieces, nephews, and many close friends.   Jill was preceded in death by her father; Joe Henry Hayward and her brother; Joe Lee Hayward.

The Family wishes to thank the Fabulous Five, Terry Pfaff, and the many friends and neighbors that offered prayers, assisted Jill and supported our family with never ending love, grace, and generosity. There are no words to express our gratitude.

Memorial Gathering will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Langsford Funeral Home 115 W. 3rd Lee’s Summit, MO. 64063.  Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 14, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church is Salisbury, MO. Inurnment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Summerville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials can be made to the Missouri River Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
