GLORIA ANNA ASHBY,
89 of Brunswick, Missouri passed
away, Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at the Brunswick Nursing Home. She was
born November 21, 1921 in Dalton, Missouri the daughter of Fred and Ruth
(Agee) Moore.
Gloria graduated from Dalton
High School. She worked as a seamstress and wall paperer for many people
in and around the Brunswick area. Gloria was a member of the First
Baptist Church in Brunswick.
Survivors include a daughter,
Diann Pippens of Kansas City, Mo; a son Raymond Hall of Columbia, one
sister, Pocahontas Wheeler of Brunswick, seven grandchildren, fourteen
great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four husbands, George Heariold,
Emmett Hall, Reginald Cooper, Lewis Ashby, five brothers, Roy, William,
Lee Wallace, Ralph and Virgil Moore and one sister, Genia Allen.
Memorial funeral services will
be held, Saturday, December 19th, 2009 at 12:30p.m. at the First Baptist
Church in Brunswick, Mo. Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO. in
charge of arrangements.
