FRANKIE "B" ROLING,
89, of Salisbury died July 20,
2009 at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center in Marceline. Frank was born
March 25, 1920 in Salisbury, MO the son of Benjamin Franklin and Kathryn
Roling. He married Adelia Marie Baer in 1945.
Frank was a lifelong Salisbury
resident. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Frank was employed in
the plumbing and pipe-fitting business as well as sheet metal work with
local unions 317 and 562. His last employment was with the Thomas Hill
Power Plant. Frank was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. One
of his favorite hobbies was hunting and collecting arrowheads.
Frank is survived by his son
Mark of Salisbury; a daughter Marrianne Cope and husband Tom of
Springdale, Arkansas; a brother George Roling of Salisbury; two sisters
Jenny Weber of Salisbury, Mary Lou Fuenfhausen of Liberty; grandchildren
Veronica Ann Cope and Jerry Michael Cope; several nieces and nephews. He
was preceded in death by his parents; wife Adelia on Sept. 25, 2004;
brother Johnny W. Roling; sisters Gertrude Widmer, Marian Iman;
brothers-in-law Lawrence Weber and Donald Fuenfhausen.
Memorial graveside services
and inurnment are Saturday, July 25th at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph
Catholic Cemetery in Salisbury. Funeral arrangements entrusted to
Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Memorial contributions may be
made to the St. Joseph Cemetery Association.
