ELVIN LAWSON GREEN, 79, formerly of Salisbury and Lake Nehai, died January 30, 2009 at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Elvin was born July 14, 1929 in Musselfork, MO the son of Joseph O. and Charlene (Chrane) Green. He married Patricia Persons on June 30, 1967 in Casper, WY.

Elvin served in the U.S. Army/Air Force during WWII. He was an engineer for Lockheed-Martin until he retired in 1992. Elvin was a member of the Salisbury First Baptist Church.

Elvin is survived by his wife Pat of the home, three sons Barry Green of Altamonte Springs, FL, Curtis Green of Ontario, Canada, Dana Green of Oak Forest, IL; three daughters Debra Felter of Jacksonville, FL, Karen Linder of Columbia, S.C., Tonya Schwarz of Casselberry, FL; a sister Jody Iman of Salisbury, MO; nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. Preceding Elvin in death were his parents; brothers Floyd and Lloyd Green.

Visitation is Monday, February 9th from 1-2:00 p.m., with memorial services following at 2:00 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Inurnment at the Keytesville City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Keytesville City Cemetery.
