ELIZABETH ANNE HUNT, 87 of Salisbury, MO died June 17, 2009 at her daughter’s home in Salisbury. Elizabeth was born September 16, 1921 in Davenport, IA the daughter of Raymond and Golden Belle “ Goldie” (McNabb) Waller. She married Joseph Vernon Hunt and he preceded her in death.

Elizabeth moved from California to Salisbury 5 years ago. She worked as a liason engineer for many years for numerous space programs, retiring in 1981. Elizabeth was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Moberly, Society of Women’s Engineers in California, and the World’s Affairs Council.

Elizabeth is survived by three daughters Sondra Peek of Salisbury, Verna Edens of Salisbury, Andrea Durham of Fayette; two brothers Harold Waller of Cedar Rapids, IA, Enoch Carlene Peterson of Nevada; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson: and several nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death, husband, brother Elmer Waller, sister’s Leora York and Sylvia Waltz.

Visitation is Sunday, June 21st from 9 to 10:00 a.m. with services following at 10 am at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Moberly with burial in Roanoke Cemetery. Funeral services are entrusted to the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Moberly or to the Roanoke Cemetery Association.
