EDWIN DALE
DELVENTHAL, 81, of
Moberly, formerly of Salisbury, died December 29, 2009 at Moberly
Regional Medical Center. Edwin was born January 27, 1928 in Brighton,
CO. He married Eva Marie Freeman on November 10, 1953 in Raton, New
Mexico and she preceded him in death on May 27, 2003.
Edwin served in the U.S. Army. He farmed and worked for Walsworth for 15
years as a forklift operator. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran
Church.
A daughter Diane Finley of Spavinaw, OK, a brother Ronald Lee Delventhal
of Brighton, CO, survives Edwin. His wife, and a son Dale Lee Delventhal
(Sept. 15, 1976) preceded him in death.
Visitation is 10- 11:00 a.m. with services following at 11:00 a.m.,
Thursday, December 31, 2009 at the Summerville Funeral Home in
Salisbury. Burial with Military Graveside services provide by the
American Legion Post 391 and the Cleve Iman VFW #4962 at the Immanuel
Lutheran Cemetery in Salisbury. Memorial contributions may be made to
the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
