DELMA GAIL RUSTEMEYER HENKE, 70 of Salisbury, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Columbia Regional Hospital. She was born in Salisbury the daughter of Harold F. and Mary Edna (Powell) Ponder.

Delma married Alvin A. Rustemeyer on September 7, 1955 in Salisbury and he preceded her in death on February 23, 1991.
Delma married Marvin Henke on October 23, 1993 in Salisbury and he survives of the home.

Mrs. Henke was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salisbury and the Church Altar Sodality.

Survivors include her husband, three daughters, Mary Cruse and her husband Leonard of Salisbury, Agnes Kruessel and her husband Jeff of Salisbury, Donna Harmon of Keytesville. one brother, Bill Ponder of Salisbury, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, first husband, two sisters, Agnes Nelson and Thelma Kinnaird and a grandson Charlie Cruse preceded her in death.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 10;30a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salisbury with burial in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 4 till 8:00p.m. with a 7:30 rosary at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Memorials are suggested to the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Fund.
