CHARLES "CHUCK" S.
WIX,
51, of Salisbury died May 23,
2009 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Chuck was born July 31, 1957 in
Fairfield, IA the son of Seth Charles and Betty Lou Keller Wix. He
Married Kath Widmer on May 24, 1980 in Salisbury, MO.
Survivors include his wife of
the home; his mother Betty Farnsworth and stepfather Richard Farnsworth
of Shirley AR; one daughter Marie Wix of Lacey WA; two sons, Jeff Wix of
Valdosta, GA. and Jason Wix of the home; one brother Edward Wix and wife
Michele of Guy AR; one sister Elizabeth Board and husband Fred of
Bermington WA; one sister-in-law DD Wix of Floyd AR.; several nieces and
nephews and other relatives. His father, and one brother David Wix
preceded Mr. Wix in death.
Chuck was a graduate from
North East State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal
justice. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and also a
member of the Knights of Columbus. Chuck was an Eagle Scout; he also
enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening, football and spending
time with friends and family.
Mass of Christian burial will
be Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in
Salisbury. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be
Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a 7:30 Rosary Service at
Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Memorials can be made to the
Chariton County Relay For Life.
