CHARLES DWAIN JOLLIFFE, 85, formerly of Prairie Hill, Missouri died Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Brunswick Nursing Home. He was born December 19, 1923 in Coatesville the son of Ray and Ida Bell (Lawson) Jolliffe.

Charles married Maude V. Scott on February 17, 1964 in Carrollton and she preceded him in death on November 27, 1995.

Charles worked in Maintenance Department for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) for 27 years retiring in 1991.

He is survived by one son Kenneth Jolliffe of Brunswick, two stepdaughters, Wilma Clark and husband Friskie of Brunswick and Bonnie Drummond of Keytesville. Eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers, Raymond, Dempsey and Tom, three sisters, Ruth Prewitt, Hazel Leistiko and Arletia Hayes and stepsons Keith Woolridge and Roland Woolridge.

Memorial graveside services with full Military Honors will be held Friday, November 27, 2009 at 10:00a.m. at the Bethany Cemetery North of Keytesville under direction of Summerville Funeral home in Salisbury. No Visitation and in lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Bethany Cemetery Association.
