BEULAH CYNTHIA KRAGER passed away at 10:00a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Pioneer Health Care Center in Marceline. She was born May 24, 1914 in Keytesville a twin-daughter to Jerome and Ora (Gravis) Lambert.

Beulah was a graduate of the Class of 1931 from Keytesville High School; she went on to get her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and earned a B.S. degree in Library Science from Central University (CMSU) in Warrensburg, Mo.

Beulah taught school in Chariton County from 1931 to 1946, and then she married Verl Krager on August 27, 1946 in Bethany, Mo. They operated a theater in Cainsville for 8 years. While there Mrs. Krager taught school and was a member of the Cainsville Christian Church and member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Verl and Beulah returned to Mendon, MO in 1954 where she resumed her teaching and was the school librarian for 28 year before retiring from the teaching profession. In 1982, Verl and Beulah moved to Salisbury, she became a member of the Keytesville Christian Church, the Warren Star Chapter #254 in Keytesville, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary (McAllister Post # 7) in Brunswick.

Her husband, sister, Oneita Lambert and two brothers, Jerome Z. Lambert and Vernon M. Lambert, preceded Beulah in death. Survivors include her twin-sister, Beatrice Graham of Pioneer Health Care Center in Marceline and several cousins and friends

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 18, 2009 at 2:00p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury with visitation from 1:00 until service time. Interment in the Eastlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Salisbury.
