ANNA MONZEL CALVERT, 88 of rural Keytesville, Missouri, died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Brunswick Nursing Home. She was born November 30, 1920 in Chariton County, Missouri the daughter of Luther and Margaret (Maggie) Shoemaker Wooldridge.  Anna was a graduate of Keytesville High School Class of 1938.  She married Gerald J. "Suze" Calvert on September 23, 1939 in Salisbury, Missouri.  Mrs Calvert was a homemaker and a member of the Elm Ridge Baptist Church in rural Keytesville.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Gerald "Suze" Calvert of the home, sons Gerald Wayne and Ann Calvert of Brunswick and John Calvert of Keytesville, 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Jerry Calvert of Marceline, Mitchell (Laurel) Calvert of Branson, Andy (Cindy) Calvert of Cameron, Chris (Gail) Calvert of Keytesville, Bob Calvert of Salisbury, Bill Calvert and Rachel Calvert both of Carrollton, Mark (Mary) Barnett of Brunswick, Melissa (Wayne) Gingell, Kansas City, Eric (Carrie) Barnett of Marshall; 18 great grandchildren, one brother-in-law, Carl and Ruth Calvert, of Fayette, two sister's-in-law, Mary Ellen Perry, of Ankeny, IA and Loretta and James Sultrop of Fayette; several nieces and nephews and 18 foster children.  Mrs Calvert was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Alfred, George and James Woolridge, one sister, Nancy Bowen, one son, Richard Calvert and a daughter, Joyce Elaine Calvert.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury with burial in Asbury Cemetery south of Keytesville.  Visitation is Monday evening 5 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the Asbury Cemetery Association.
