MARY LOUISE HARLAN, 96, of Loch Haven Nursing Home, formerly of Salisbury and the Prairie Hill Communities died October 20, 2008 at Samaritan Memorial Hospital in Macon. Louise was born April 23, 1912 in Prairie Hill, MO the daughter of Claude C. and Mary E. (Shawk) Thompson. She married Howard Harlan on September 20, 1933 in Thomas Hill, MO and he preceded her in death on May 23, 1982.

Louise was a lifelong area resident. He was a homemaker and former member of the Prairie Hill Methodist Church.

Louise is survived by a son Claude L. (C.L) Harlan and wife Elaine of Macon; grandchildren Warren Lee Harlan of Tulsa, OK, Christopher Wayne Harlan of Moberly; great grandchildren Baileigh and Kennedy Harlan of Moberly; niece Marge Dooley of Salisbury; nephews Eugene Thompson of Macon and George Everett Thompson of Monroe City, MO. Her parents preceded her in death, husband, two brothers Wallace and Walter Thompson.

Visitation is Tuesday, October 21, 2008 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Services are 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 22nd at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury with burial in Prairie Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Prairie Hill Cemetery Association.
