FRANCES HELMICH, 95, of Salisbury died November 12, 2008 at the Chariton Park Health Care Center in Salisbury. Frances was born December 30, 1912 in Keytesville, MO the daughter of John and Grace (Shoemaker) Gallilher. She married Emil Helmich and he preceded her in death on March 30, 1982.

Frances was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and seamstress for the Biltwell Clothing Factory, retiring in 1976.

Three sons Alfred Helmich of Salisbury, Donald Helmich of Bethel, MO, Billie Helmich of Salisbury; a daughter Dorothy Kitley of Collinsville, IL; 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and 3 nephews survive Frances. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John Marcus Galliher, and a sister Pauline Sippel, an infant granddaughter Beth Helmich.

Visitation is Friday, November 14th from 10 – 11:00 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Burial in Salisbury City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Salisbury City Cemetery Association.
