EDRIS MAE McCLOUD, 86, of Keytesville died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Edris was born January 21, 1922 in Musselfork, MO the daughter of James and Betty (Phelps) Smith. Edris married Forrest Kelly McCloud on March 23, 1940 in Huntsville, MO, and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2008.

Edris was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress for the Biltwell Clothing Factory in Salisbury for 30 years, retiring in 1989. Edris was a member of the Keytesville United Methodist Church and the Magic Workers Extension Club.

Edris is survived by a son Bob McCloud of Brookfield, Wisconsin; a daughter Sandra Shannon and husband Bobby of Keytesville, MO; a sister Mary Brenizer of Edina, MO; five grandchildren Greg Shannon and wife Sherry of Kansas City, MO, Todd Shannon and wife Jobie of Wellington, MO, Megan Papel and husband Amish of Juniper, Fl, Molly McCloud of Independence, MO, Brennen McCloud of Brookfield, WS; four great grandchildren Trey, Ayden, Bree, Brady; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons Larry McCloud in 1942, Gary McCloud in 1961, a brother James Smith, and sister Jean Young.

Visitation is 4-8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 6th at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Services are 11:00 a.m., Friday November 7th at the Summerville Funeral Home with burial in Musselfork Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Keytesville United Methodist Church or the Musselfork Cemetery Association.
