DARRELL OTTO KUHLER,
53, of Dalton, died December 24, 2008 at
Chariton Park Health Care Center in Salisbury. Darrell was born May 1,
1955 in Washington, MO the son of Norman and Lorraine E. (Gausman)
Millam.
Darrell was a 1973 graduate of Brunswick High
School, where he served as study body president. He was the first male
to receive the Betty Crocker Homemaker award in his senior year.
Darrell received a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture (Economics) from
the University of Missouri. Darrell was a farmer receiving the corn
grower’s award, a member of the Missouri Soy Bean Association, MU Alumni
Association, former member of the Brunswick School Board, Bowling Green
Township board. Darrell also coach his daughter’s basketball team at
the YMCA and Show Me Basketball games.
His daughter Christina Green and husband
Travis of Marceline; a half brother Stephen K. Kuhler of Columbia; and a
grandson Harrison Green survive Darrell. His parents preceded him in
death, step father Joseph W. Kuhler, Jr., and infant sister Victoria
Millam.
Visitation is 1-2:00 p.m., Sunday, December
28th with Memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the Christian Church in
Brunswick. Services are under the direction of Summerville Funeral Home
in Salisbury. Memorial for Mr. Kuhler are Brunswick Area
Library-Children's Library Building Fund or the Brunswick Swimming Pool.
