BILLY GENE JONES,
81 of Salisbury died October 16,
2008 at Chariton Park Health Care Center in Salisbury. He was born April
22, 1927 at home near Ketyesville, MO the son of the late George F. and
Mary (Howard) Jones.
Due to having polio when he
was 3 years of age, Billy spent his entire life at home with his
parents, and attended Hurst School south of Salisbury. He has been in
the Chariton Park Health Care Center since the passing of his parents.
He attended the Salisbury First Baptist Church.
Billy is survived by a sister
Mary Etta (Renne) Kothe of Salibury; two brothers J.C. Jones and wife
Mary of Ketyesville, Donald Jones and wife Donnita of Roseburg, OR;
several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary
in 1975; his father George in 1953; brothers Cecil in 2002, Leo in 2000,
and Richard in 2005.
Visitation is 2-3:00 p.m.,
Friday, October 17, 2008 at the Summerville Funeral Home, with graveside
services following at 3:00 p.m. at the Salisbury City Cemetery. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Salisbury City Cemetery.
