BARBARA ELLEN (NOEL) ROLING, 76 of Clifton Hill died July 30, 2008 at Golden Living Center in Glasgow, MO. Barbara was born August 25, 1932 in Clifton Hill, MO the daughter of Vergal and Mary (Sanders) Shives. She married William Noel in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1983. On October 13, 1994 she married George Roling.

Barbara was a graduate of the Clifton High School Class of 1948. She attended Moberly Jr. College for two years and was a member of the Clifton Hill Baptist church.

Barbara is survived by her husband George Roling of Clifton Hill; two daughters Leah Beckmann and husband Randy of St. Louis, MO, Nan Brichta and husband Bob of Richmond, VA; step son Todd Roling and wife Carrie of Salisbury; three brothers Vergal Shives and wife Dottie of Salisbury, Ron Shives and wife Betty of Texas City, TX, Bernard Shives and wife Bonnie of St. Charles, MO; two grand children; two great grandchildren; one step grandson; two step granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William; and sister Elaine Shives.

Visitation is 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 1st at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Services are Saturday, August 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at the Clifton Hill Baptist Church. Burial is Monday at Oakhill Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
