ALICE M MOFFETT was born on August 22, 1952 in Clifton Hill, Missouri to Harlan G. Moffett and Leota N Singleton Moffett. She passed from this life on Monday, October 20, 2008 in Tusa, Oklahoma having reached the age of 56 years, 1 month and 28 days.  She moved to Pawnee from Jefferson City, Missouri in April of 2003.  She was affiliated with the First Christian Church of Pawnee.  She worked for Capital Projects in Jefferson City, Missouri for thirty years, and was a member of the First Christian Church in Jefferson City for forty years.  She was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and the American Legion in Jefferson City.  She was a very loving person and loved everybody she met.

Alice is survived by her father, Harlan G Moffett, Pawnee, Oklahoma; two brothers, Leonard Moffett, Cabool, Missouri and Leslie Moffett and his wife Karen, Florida; one sister, Linda Britt and her husband, Jerry, Pawnee, Oklahoma; nieces, Patsy Heusted, Marshall, Missouri, Rene Sexton, Moberly, Missouri, Mary Moffett, Moberly, Missouri, Judy Moffett, Moberly, Missouri; newphews, Eric Sinder, Tulsa, Oklahoma, George Moffett, Moberly, Missouri, and Ezra & Tom Britt, Pawnee, Oklahoma.  Plus a number of other relatives and many friends.  Alice was preceded in death by her mother, Leota Moffett in 1995 and her sister, Lenora Sue Moffett in 1951.

Graveside services are at 11:00 AM at Prairie Hill Cemetery on Friday, October 24, 2008 under the direction of Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, Missouri.
