WILLIAM FERDINAND WINN, 93, a resident of the Moberly Nursing and Rehab, went to be with the LORD on Monday, April 7, 2008. He was born October 12, 1914 in rural Salisbury as the son of Oliver and Elizabeth Winn. Ferd was married to the late Ethel (Canote) Winn on March 26, 1938.

Ferd worked over 30 years for Wabash and Norfolk Southern Railroad before retiring and enjoying his family. He was a faithful Christian man who was a long time member and Deacon of the Clifton Hill Baptist Church and currently a member of the First Baptist Church in Huntsville.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Kay Winn of St. Louis and Wilferd and Connie Winn of Clifton Hill; four grandchildren, Gina and Dick Bailey of St. Louis, Gary and Candace Winn of St. Louis, Brian and Patsy Winn of Columbia and Brant and Kristen Winn of Colorado Springs, CO; and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 10:00a.m. at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville with burial in the Clifton Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 till 8:00p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Gideons International, First Baptist Church Huntsville (Parking Lot Fund) or Clifton Hill Baptist Church Foundation Fund.
