SHERRI D RYALS JOHNSON, 56 of St. Charles, MO died June 24, 2008 at her home in St. Charles, MO. Sherri was born October 4, 1951 in Moberly, MO the daughter of Wallace and Nadine Gooch Ryals. She resided in Huntsville until moving to St. Charles, MO in 2000.

She graduated from Westran High School in 1969. She also received her AA degree from MACC in 1994. Sherri was a member of the Clifton Hill Baptist Church. She was employed with the State of Missouri – Child Support Enforcement for several years. She is the twin sister of Sheryl Wilson of Huntsville; known as the “Ryals Twins”.

Survivors include one son and two daughters. Matthew Johnson of Huntsville, Denise Drew-Douglass, husband Guy, and grandchildren Blayn Drew and Andi Douglass of St. Charles. Leah Drew, husband Daniel, and grandchildren Cadence Johnson and Hannah Drew of Sedalia. Survivors also include her brother Steven Ryals and wife Dee of Kansas, her sister Sheryl Wilson and husband Gayle of Huntsville, and her brother Darrell Ryals of Holts Summit. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Wallace and Nadine Ryals and infant brother Michael Ryals.

Visitation will be held at the Clifton Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 1 P.M. at the church. Rev. Roy Hopkins will Officiate. Burial will follow at the Clifton Hill Cemetery. Patton Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Clifton Hill Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
