RUTH McBRIDE,
90, of Almonta Springs, FL,
formerly of Huntsville, passed away March 23, 2008, in a Florida Care
Center.
Mrs. McBride was born February
28, 1917 in Cairo to the late Floyd and Hattie Woodruff.
She married Wayne McBride of
Huntsville and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death
were a daughter Alice Marie Bennett; sisters, Helen Clark of Paris,
Katherine Patterson of California; and brothers Paul and Frank Woodruff
of Sturgeon and Harold Woodruff of St. Louis.
Survivors include a
granddaughter, Pam Stackman, and son-in-law, Dale Bennett of Florida;
sisters, Hazel Basnett of Dunedin, FL, Jo Mobley of Clark;
sister-in-law, Mary Woodruff: brothers Carroll Woodruff of Sturgeon,
Raymond Woodruff of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was a 50-year member of
the Dorothy Chapter 131, Order of the Eastern Star in Huntsville.
Visitation is Tuesday, April
1, from noon til 1:30p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville.
Graveside services are at 2:00 p.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery in
Moberly. Memorial are suggested to the Dorothy Chapter 131, Order of the
Eastern Star in Huntsville.
