OPAL MINNIE DYSART, 98, of Huntsville, MO died February 4, 2008 at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly. Opal was born October 7, 1909 in Prairie Hill, MO the daughter of Ben and Elizabeth (Sievelle) Hicken. She married N.G. (Nick) Dysart on July 30, 1937 in Huntsville, MO, and he preceded her in death on November 6, 1988.

Opal was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Opal is survived by a daughter Marilyn Wiley and husband Denzil of Madison, MO, three sisters Ruby Mallander of Harrisonville, Mo; Judy Sever of Herman, MO; Helen McCune of Harrisonville, MO; a grandson Adam Wiley; a granddaughter Rebecca Kelley; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brother’s Ernest, Emirel, and David Hicken.

Graveside services are 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 5th at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Moberly, Mo, under the direction of Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville, MO. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the donor’s choice.
