HELEN FRANCES EPLEY, 83, of Huntsville, died March 7, 2008 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Helen was born July 11, 1924 in Oakwood, MO the daughter of Bayne and Maude (Clark) Wright. She married Dr. Morris C. Epley on June 29, 1944 in Independence, MO and he preceded her in death on September 25, 1990.

Helen was a graduate of the Durham High School (Marion County) Class of 1942. She was a homemaker, member of the Huntsville United Methodist Church, and 50-year member of the Eastern Star, avid and loyal fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, and Missouri Tiger football and basketball.

A brother Bobby Wright of Wien, MO; sister Carolyn Jean Wright of Houston, TX; a dear friend Martha Creed of Cairo, MO; several nieces and nephews survive Helen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two son’s Mark Epley in 1955, and Jeffrey Epley on Dec. 9, 1987; a brother Dale Wright, Sr on January 26, 2008; three sisters Ruby at infancy, Anna Lee Pierce, and Gladys Witt.

Visitation is Sunday, March 9th from 1-2:00 p.m. with services following at 2:00 p.m. at the Huntsville United Methodist Church under the direction of Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. Burial in Huntsville City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntsville United Methodist Church.
