DARLENE PEARL
HUGHES, 70, of Clifton Hill, MO died January 3, 2008 at her home.
Darlene was born October 26, 1937 in Huntsville, MO the daughter of
Lawrence E. and Pearl Almeda (Nixon) Lane. She married William Lee
Hughes on October 1, 1955 in Colorado Springs, Co, and he preceded her
in death on September 3, 1983.
Darlene was a homemaker and a
former member of the Huntsville Baptist Church.
Darlene is survived by a
daughter Connie Jo Hughes of Vandalia, MO; two sister’s Betty Hopkins
and husband Emanuel of Moberly, MO, Vivian Sanders and husband Dale of
Huntsville; five grandchildren William Hadley Barger, Rebecca Jo Vomund,
Clinton Wyatt Barger, Zachary Paul Vomund, Patrick Ryan McCawley;
several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents,
husband, daughter Linda Barger on October 2, 2005, and sister Maxine
Hammons on December 18, 2007.
Visitation is Sunday, January
6, 2007 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville.
Services are Monday, January 7th at 10:00 a.m. at the Patton Funeral
Home with burial in Huntsville City Cemetery. Memorial contributions
maybe made to the Huntsville City Cemetery.
