ANNA LAURA SHOEMAKER, 80, of Huntsville, died Friday, May 30, 2008 at Moberly Regional Medical Center.

Mrs Shoemaker was born June 15, 1927 in Kent, IA, the daughter of Ralph Terry and Drusilla Jane Wilson.  She married Christopher E Shoemaker December 21, 1944 in Salisbury and he preceded her in death on January 13,1985.

Mrs Shoemaker had worked at the Biltwell Clothing Factory and later retired from the Fayette National Garment Factory.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Shoemaker (Barbara) of Huntsville and Ralph Shoemaker (Shelley) of Huntsville; one daughter, Laura J. "Janie" (Mike) of Fayette; one brother, Elbert Terry (Florence), Ephrata, WA; two sisters Rose Mary Kitchen of Moberly and Bonnie Terry of the state of California; one sister-in-law, Mildred Terry of Salisbury; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Ralph Terry.

Mrs Shoemaker was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be 10 - 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3 at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville.  A graveside service will follow at the Huntsville City Cemetery.
