NORMA LOUISE KOENIG, 82 of Huntsville died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Loma Linda Nursing Home in Moberly. She was born February 4, 1930 in Washington, Mo. the daughter of Anthony and Gertrude Monzyk.

Norma married Eugene Koenig and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Koenig was a Certified Nurses Aid and Cook for many years and a member of the St. Pius 10th Catholic Church.

Survivors, include two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Lindy Koenig, Huntsville, Dennis and Sheila Koenig, Salisbury, two daughters and a son-in-law, Deanna “DeeDee” and Bill O’Brien, Huntsville, Donna Koenig, Center, Mo. two brothers Harold and Don Monzyk of Washington, Mo; three sisters, Charlene Sumtrup, Union, MO; Dorothy Richardson, Washington, Mo; Virginia Kuester, Morrison, Mo. 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, David and DeWayne Koenig, two brothers, David and Howard Monzyk and one grandson.

Visitation is Tuesday from 9:00a.m. till 10:00a.m. with Prayer Service said at 10:00a.m. at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the St. Pius 10th Catholic Church.
