GIDA LORENE WILSON, 82, of Huntsville, MO died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at University Hospital in Columbia. Lorene was born September 1, 1929 in Huntsville, MO the daughter of John and Flossie (Avery) Hagar. She married George Kenneth Wilson on December 21, 1946 in Kansas and he preceded her in death on March 30, 1991.

Lorene was a graduate of Huntsville High School class of 1947. Lorene worked at Thelma’s Floral Shop, Summers Grocery Store in Huntsville and managed the Payless Shoe Store in Moberly. She was a member of the Huntsville First Baptist Church.

Lorene is survived by three sons Gayle Wilson (Sheryl) of Huntsville, MO, Ronald Wilson (Sharon) of Mexico, MO, Randy Wilson of Moberly, daughters Sandy Wilson of Ava, MO, Pam Trustee (Larry) of Huntsville, a brother Hershel Hagar of Moberly, MO, a sister Nina Jackson of Ozark, MO, eight grandchildren Marcie and David Johnson of Macon, Eric Wilson of Macon, Kenzie and Cam Prince of St. Petersburg, FL, Rhonda Wilson of Holt Summit, MO, Dustin Wilson of Moberly, Shawn Vanderbeck of Springfield, MO, Jeremy Trustee of Huntsville, Lynnzie Trustee of Columbia, seventeen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, brother Vernon Hagar, two sisters Letha Patton, Hazel Bowman and a grandson Daryn Douglas preceded her in death.

Visitation is Tuesday, January 17th from 5- 8:00 p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. Services are Wednesday, January 18th at 10:30 a.m. at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville with burial in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery in Moberly. Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntsville First Baptist Church.
