CHARLES ROBERT KRAFT, 83, of Huntsville, died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Charles was born May 11, 1928 in Randolph Co. Missouri the son of Oather A. and Mittie Newton (Stringer) Kraft. He married Barbara Jean Zwonitzer on June 20, 1948 in Higbee, MO. She preceded him in death on April 30, 1995.

Mr. Kraft worked as a truck driver for National Carriers for many years before retirement. Charles attended church at North Park Baptist Church in Moberly. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2669 and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially his great grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandy Welch and husband Floyd of Huntsville, MO; one sister Clara Mae Roberts of Kansas City, MO; one granddaughter Miranda Smith and husband Troy of Cairo, MO; four great grandchildren Brandon Smith, Kaitlyn Smith, Samantha Smith and Bradley Robert Smith; one brother-in-law Walter C. Zwonitzer of Cypress, CA; and one sister-in-law Maxine Briggs of Independence, MO.

Mr. Kraft was preceded in death by his parent, wife Barbara Kraft, and two brothers Donnie and James Kraft.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. Burial will be in the Huntsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
