WILLARD L. NOEL,
86 of Huntsville died Sunday,
September 25, 2011 at Life Care Center in Brookfield, Missouri. Willard
was born November 11, 1924 in Randolph County, Missouri the son of Fred
and Flossie (Warford) Noel.
Willard graduated from
Huntsville High School in 1942. He married Elma Lorene Stanturf on
November 7, 1948 at the Huntsville First Baptist Church. She preceded
him in death on September 5, 2011.
Willard worked as a switchman
for Wabash and Norfolk and Southern Railroad. He retired in 1984. Mr.
Noel was a lifelong member of the Huntsville First Baptist Church where
he served as Custodians for 37 years before retiring in 2009.
Mr. Noel is survived by one
sister, Rose Schwab of Rifle CO. and several nieces and nephews and
other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two
brothers Roy and Jim Noel.
Funeral Services will be held
at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Patton Funeral Home in
Huntsville. Burial will be in the Huntsville City Cemetery. Visitation
will be held Thursday at 9:30 AM until the time of service. In lieu of
flowers memorials can be made to the Huntsville First Baptist Church.
