WAYNE COX, 69, of Moberly died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at his home. Wayne was born July 4, 1942 in Denver, CO the son of Carl and Christena (Robbins) Cox.

He graduated from Westran High School in the class of 1960. Wayne attended drafting classes at Draughtons College in Kansas City, Mo and later at Moberly Junior College. He married Faye Hall on November 27, 1963 in Clifton Hill, MO. She survives him.

Wayne was a member of the Huntsville First Baptist Church. Prior to retiring from DuPont, Wayne spent many years doing home design and drafting work. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Faye Cox of Moberly, MO; one son David Cox and wife Jennifer of Houston, TX; one daughter Lori Kohl and husband Nate of Harrisburg, MO; one sister Ileen Dunivent and husband Orville of Salisbury, MO; eight grandchildren, Rachel Herrington and husband Kyle, Bethany Kohl, Lydia Kohl, Tabitha Kohl, Rebekah Kohl, Jessie Kohl, Josiah Kohl and Sydney Cox; and several nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Huntsville First Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Clifton Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. Memorial contributions can be made to Coyote Hill Christian Children's Home.
