RITA A. (WELCH) MCKENNEY, 58, of Huntsville died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at her home. Rita was born January 3, 1953 in Fayette, Missouri the daughter of Arthur Douglas and Ester Margaret (Rekate) Welch. She married Tracy McKenney on June 28, 2008 and he survives her.

Rita worked at Moberly Nursing and Rehab for 25 yrs as a LPN where she enjoyed helping people and family’s. She was a Christian by faith. She enjoyed cooking, going to casinos and spending time with her family and friends.

Rita is survived by her husband, Tracy McKenney of Huntsville, MO; mother, Ester Margaret Welch of Huntsville, MO; one son, Richard Douglas Sinclair of Huntsville, MO; three daughters, Robin Gwinner and husband Pat of Huntsville, MO, Maggie Fainter and husband Gary of Bevier, MO, and Julie Harms and husband Aaron of Moberly, MO; three brothers, Leroy Welch and wife Mary of Moberly, MO, Randy Welch and wife Mary of Huntsville, MO, and John Welch of Moberly, MO; ten grandchildren, Samantha Gwinner, Hunter Gwinner, Jared Sinclair, Tyler Sinclair, Andrew Thompson, Veronica Sinclair, Preston Sinclair, Zackary Smith, Tiffany Smith, and Lucas Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. McKenney was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Elmer Welch and Delmar Welch.

Funeral Services will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. Burial will be in the Huntsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM Monday at Patton Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
