HELEN F (CHISM)
MARTIN,
68, of Moberly died Friday,
November 25, 2011 at her home after her third battle with Cancer. Helen
was born December 21, 1942 in Huntsville, MO the daughter of Rubert Earl
and Laura Ellen (Burton) Wolverton. Helen married William E. Martin on
April 5, 1985 in Miami, OK.
Survivors include her husband,
William E. Martin of the home; two sons, Joseph Chism Jr. and wife
Debbie of Fulton, MO and Robert L. Chism of Kansas City, MO; one step
son, Lewis Robert Martin and Fiancé Scarlet of Leavenworth, KS; two step
daughters, Kim Roberts and husband Dave of Girard, KS and Robin Moore
and Husband Roland of Atchison, KS; two sisters, Violet Elliott of
Huntsville, MO and Lula Mae Seefeldt and husband Robert of Huntsville,
MO; six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and several nieces
and nephews and other relatives.
Mrs. Martin was preceded in
death by her parents; stepfather, Fred Hagar; first husband, Joseph
William Chism Sr.; two brothers, Clarence and Donald Wolverton and one
granddaughter, Jackie Chism.
Helen Worked at Orscheln Break
Lever Company before retirement. She was a member of King James Baptist
Church. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and spending time with
family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held
at 10:30 AM Friday, December 2, 2011 at King James Baptist Church, 1315
Henry St. Moberly, MO. Burial will be in the Huntsville City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday at King James
Baptist Church. The family is being served by the Patton Funeral Home of
Huntsville, MO. Memorials are suggested to the Helen Martin Memorial
Fund in care of Patton Funeral Home.
