SHIRLEY ANNE SUMMERS,
77 of Huntsville died Wednesday,
October 28, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be Sunday, November
1, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church in Darksville. Burial
will be in the Darksville Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from
5:00 to 7:00 PM at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville.
Shirley was born October 11,
1932 in Paris, MO the daughter of Marvin Clay and Zue Marie (Bryan)
Shrader. Shirley graduated from Paris High School in 1950. She married
Robert Richmond Summers on October 15, 1950 in Paris, Missouri.
Shirley has survived by her
husband Robert Richmond Summers of the home; three sons George R.
Summers of Huntsville, James R. Summers and wife Dottie of Eldon, John
W. Summers of Huntsville; one daughter Nancy Ann Summers of Columbia;
one sister Ruth Carman on Paris; four grandchildren Tommy Campbell Jr.,
Becky Anne Campbell, Lilliah Elizabeth Summers, Abby Lynn Summers; and
several nephews. Her parents and one brother Bryan Shrader preceded her
in death.
Mrs. Summers was a member of
the Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting and spending time
with friends and family. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer
Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
