ORA B. THOMAS, 80, of Old Milton died, Friday, June 26, 2009 at Moberly Regional Medical Center and her husband
WILLLIAM RADFORD THOMAS, 87, died Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Moberly Nursing and Rehab.

William Radford Thomas was born December 21, 1921 in Yates, MO the son of William Patton and Edith Fullington Thomas.

Ora B. Thomas was born December 25, 1928 in Huntsville MO the daughter of John Calvin and Dollie Mae Minor Hughes.

William and Ora were united in Marriage on April 25, 1946 in Leavenworth, KS. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas had been married for 63 years before going with each other to be with their Heavenly Father.

William and Ora are survived by one son; Stan Thomas and wife Debbie of Diana, TX; one daughter Janet Thomas of Cairo, Mo; five grandchildren, Shila Browne, Shannon Nelson, Michael Burton, Jeffery Chapman and Amanda Chapman; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

One sister Nila Pogue of Moberly, Mo, survives William. His parents, wife, and one brother Eddie Ray Thomas preceded him in death.

One half sister Thelma “Merry” McNinch of Moberly, Mo, survives Ora. Her parents, three brothers, John Lee Hughes, Mason Hughes, Dell Henry Hughes and eight half brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas were both Baptist by faith. William was a member of the North Park Baptist Church in Moberly. Mr. Thomas served is country in the Army Air force during WWII. He also was lifetime member of the NRA. Both William and Ora enjoyed visiting and spending time with friends and family.

Funeral Services for William Radford and Ora B. Thomas will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. Burial with full military honors will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Salvation Army.
