MARY ELIZABETH JONES,
74, of Huntsville died Wednesday.
July 15, 2009 at Mark Twain in Huntsville. Mary was born March 25, 1935
in Cairo, MO the daughter of Elbert Lee and Mildred Allin (Yeakey)
Jones.
Survivors include seven first
cousins Lee Jones of Lake St. Louis; Eleanor Franklin of Cairo; Earl
Jones of Moberly; William Matzen of Kansas City; Kay Jones of Columbia;
Carla Anderson of Huntsville; Paul Hefiner of Texas; and several nieces,
nephews and other relatives. Her parents, stepfather Bill Terrill, one
stepbrother Manford Terrill and two stepsisters Velma Louis Waters and
Emma Sue Compton preceded Ms. Jones in death.
Ms. Jones was a member of the
Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with friends and
family. Mary also was very involved in her church and Huntsville
community service and activities.
Funeral Services will be held
3:00 PM Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church in
Darksville, MO. Burial will be in the Darksville Cemetery. Visitation
will be held Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Patton Funeral Home
in Huntsville. Memorials are suggested to the Darksville Cemetery or Mt.
Shiloh Baptist Church
