KENNETH EUGENE JABS,
69, of Huntsville died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Moberly Regional
Medical Center. Kenneth was born April 29, 1940 in Bismarck North Dakota
the son of Edward and Frieda (Marshall) Jabs. He married Jean Hallowell
on July 18, 1973 in Mattoon, IL.
Kenneth has survived by his
wife Jean of the home; a son Russell Jabs of Mattoon, IL; one daughter
Brenda Clinger of state of CA; three step-daughters Billie Jean Hall of
Moberly, Christie Schwab and husband Mike of Burnside, IL, and Debi Hall
of Moberly; two brothers Lyle Jabs of Fargo, ND and Myron Jabs of Valley
City, ND; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jabs was preceded in death
by his parents, one son Rick Allen Jabs and one brother Paul Jabs.
Mr. Jabs was a Baptist by
faith. He worked as a scraper operator for Associated Electric Mining.
Kenneth enjoyed watching car racing and spending time with friends and
family.
Memorial graveside services
with full military honors will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, October 25,
2009 at the Huntsville City Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville is in charge of arrangement. Memorials
are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Heart
Association.
